KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION AND

If you have a child that will be 5 on or before August 1, 2020, the teachers will be hosting a Kindergarten Parent Orientation on February 13, 2019, from 4:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Registration packets will be available in the office beginning February 10, 2020.
The rescheduled dates for Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-21 school year have been scheduled for June 10th and 11th in a drive thru format at the elementary. For those of you that scheduled for March 31st or April 2nd, the secretaries will be contacting you to reschedule your day/time. Details of the registration process will be provided at this time. If you did not schedule for a March or April date, please email Mrs. Luli, secretary, at email@example.com and she will provide you with the necessary information.
Kindergarten Baseline Screening will take place on August 25, 2020, and August 26, 2020, between 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. A time and day will be given during registration in June.
Kindergarten rosters will be developed after screening in August. Kindergarten class lists will be posted after 12:00 p.m. on September 2, 2020, on the west doors of the building.
Kindergarten Open House will be August 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in your child’s classroom.
Half of the kindergarten students will attend school on September 3rd and the other half September 4th. All kindergarten students will be in attendance on September 8, 2020.

Kindergarten Baseline Screening 2020-2021
When: August 25th and August 26th
Where: Rootstown Elementary School
Who: Children who will be five (5) years old on or before August 1st
Time: Times are scheduled upon picking up registration packets.
What to Bring: You must have the following to enroll your child:
- Two (2) Proofs of residency (rental or purchase agreement or mortgage statement, and utility bill. We cannot take driver’s license, checks, or credit cards).
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Social security card
- Custody papers, if applicable
Immunizations: Ohio state law requires all students to be immunized in order to attend school. Please bring a copy of the immunization record with you.
